The iF 1.0.0 stable release was made on 1st January 2008, after much development by the ikonForums Team and having undergone public testing. Prior to it's release iF 1.0.0 had undergone much testing with five public betas, and three release candidates...

• iF 1.0.0 beta 1 released on 6th April 2007
• iF 1.0.0 beta 2 released on 22nd April 2007
• iF 1.0.0 beta 3 released on 19th May 2007
• iF 1.0.0 beta 4 released on 18th June 2007
• iF 1.0.0 beta 5 released on 13th July 2007
• iF 1.0.0 RC1 released on 8th September 2007
• iF 1.0.0 RC2 released on 30th October 2007
• iF 1.0.0 RC3 released on 23rd December 2007

[edit] Server requirements

During the initial development ikonForums has been tested using Perl version 5.8.7 and MySQL 5.2.0. From internal testing we so far tested also using lesser versions. At present we believe the following to be required...

• Perl: 5.6
• MySQL: 4.1
• ImageMagick / GD Library: not required but recommended.

[edit] Known issues

• Support for MySQL 4.0 is not provided, and as a result some aspects of the board do not function, this is due to support for sub-queries being introduced with MySQL 4.1.
